1. FEELING
GRATITUDE
feeling or expressing gratitude for something.
When
giving thanks this holiday season we will acknowledge all that is precious in
our lives: health, loved ones, friends, families and freedom. Now and throughout the year, hold these gems
ever so tightly and close to your heart.
Thankfully, raise them to the light and admire the amazing clarity and
brilliance they possess and remind yourself how extraordinarily lucky you are
to have a handful of precious gems.
As
President of CAZEO, I extend my most sincere wishes to you and yours
for a joyous holiday season.

‘ It was a hopelessly dank December day.
The autumn leaves, which recently illuminated the city, were now a memory of a
kinder season now past, buried beneath
This
gloomy sounding situation could be a good thing. Less construction activity probably means
less zoning inspections. Less daylight and inactivity probably means less
zoning complaints to investigate. Winter
provides us with the time we need to regroup, reorganize and gear up for the
approaching busy spring season.
Thank
you Mother Nature!

If
anyone has had any applications for motor vehicle approvals since October 1st,
please share your experience with CAZEO.

You
won’t find that special holiday gift at www.cazeo.org
, but you’ll still want to check the official website for the Connecticut
Association of Zoning Enforcement Officials which now includes job
announcements. We welcome your comments and suggestions!
On
behalf of the CAZEO Executive Board, allow me to extend to all our CAZEO
members, families, and friends a sincere and heartfelt “Happy Holidays”.
Sincerely,
Bruce E. Driska, CZEO

“You Gotta Give to Get”
This year the CAZEO Executive Board has elected to take up a collection
for the Veterans Administration. We are
seeking canned goods/boxed goods for their gift baskets, or cash contributions
that will go towards their real wish list; a 14 cubic foot frost free freezer
for turkeys, etc. and a self cleaning oven/stove to cook food for veterans,
parties, etc.
Again this year we will be raffling off
some great door prizes at our December Meeting.
If you give us a contribution, you will get a raffle ticket. Even if you don’t win a door prize, you can
delight in knowing that you contributed to a worthy cause during the ‘Season of
Giving’.
