The Town of Westbrook Connecticut is seeking a hands-on experienced and self-motivated Zoning Enforcement Officer (ZEO) professional reporting to the Zoning Commission.  The ZEO performs inspections, investigative and administrative duties to assure that residential, commercial and other properties comply with the Zoning, Aquifer Protection and Coastal or Tidelands Wetlands Regulations of the Town and with related state statutes.

The Director will be responsible for managing services within the department, and maintaining an effective relationship with other operating departments.  This department is responsible for Zoning, Building, Planning, and Code Enforcement.

The salary for this at-will executive position will be between $85,000 - $95,000, dependent upon qualifications.  Additionally, the selected candidate will enjoy excellent benefits including vacation, medical insurance, life insurance, paid holidays, and retirement benefits.
