The Town of East Windsor is seeking applications for a Full Time Assistant Planner/Zoning-Wetland Enforcement Official, Economic Development liason. The position is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the Town Zoning, Subdivision,Wetlands & Aquifer Protection Regulations; provides staff support to the ZBA, EDC and IWWC/CC & Agricultural Commission as required. The applicant should have a good understanding of CGS, Land Use Regulations, Wetlands and Enforcement. Strong GIS computer, and customer service skills are a plus. A minimum of 3 years experience and/or combination of education desired. CZEO & AICP certification preferred. Salary is $55,548 plus excellent benefits. Land Use Assistant-Town of Ellington,CT
LAND USE ASSISTANT/PLANNING OFFICE: Performs administrative and technical office work at a skilled and responsible level for the Town Planner and coordinates services of a responsible nature for the various Land Use Commissions. Performs recording secretary tasks and must attend evening meetings as assigned.
Hourly Wage: $25.54 - $28.38
Full-Time Union Position: 35 hours per week

Town Planner, Woodbury CT
Works under the supervision of the First Selectman and adheres to the policies of the regulatory land-use agencies - Zoning Commission, Planning Commission, Inland Wetlands Agency, Historic District Commission, and Zoning Board of Appeals. Coordinates and administers the land use regulatory process; maintains necessary plans and mechanisms to guide the appropriate development of the Town; performs managerial duties related to staff and budget. Provides supervision and delegates work responsibilities to the Enforcement Officer, and administrative staff.
A post-graduate degree in planning, or closely related field, and three years of municipal, regional, or State planning experience or equivalent or an undergraduate degree in planning or closely related field and 8 years of experience. American Institute of Certified Planners certification is required. Competency with typical office computer software and experience with GIS software is required.
35 hours per week. Salary range between $58,000 to $61,200 based on experience.
