On May 15, 2024 from 10AM - 12PM CAZEO will host Marcus Kellum of Metric One Training and Consulting. The is a free training and will be 2 CEC credits for certified members.   

This course introduces the concept of capacity-building as the process of developing and strengthening the skills, instincts, abilities, processes, and resources that regulatory organizations and communities need to survive, adapt, and thrive in a fast-changing world.

·         Attendees will learn how sharing, supporting, and advocating the organization’s mission and vision helps to develop and communicate the vision to staff and others.

·         Attendees will gain a better understanding of the theoretical and practical challenges of the job such as citizen behavior towards public servants, attractiveness of and political decisions about code compliance and regulatory jobs.

·         Attendees will be introduced to the theory of commercialization and how a few public sector organizations are moving beyond the notion of outsourcing and partnering; they are looking to generate income in order to relieve the burden on taxpayers, increase investment and increase efficiency.
